Enrolment Procedures:
To enrol for any course in NLCBS, a candidate has to go through the enrolment procedure. The process differs depending whether the applicant is an international student or and in-country student.

In-Country Student
1.0 Student enrolment process
An In-country student can apply by walking into the college and following the processes below:
(a). The student will need to sign in reception; the student will be given a personal enquiry form to complete.
(b). Once completed, the student will go to meet the Director of Studies (DOS). The Director of Studies will interview and assess the candidates’ suitability for the course.
(c). Below are some questions asked during the interview;

* What course have you been doing? (The student has to show previous qualifications)
* Have you completed the course?
* Which college were you attending?
* Why do you want to enrol on this course?
* Have you done any research on this course?

1.4. Based on the outcome of the interview, if eligible, DOS will send the student to
the Finance office for payment;

1.5. DOS will also check with UK NARIC if the qualifications are genuine.

1.6. Finance office will take payment and provide the student with an application
form.

1.7. Once the application form is complete, the student submits it together with
educational transcripts and copy of there passport to reception.

1.8. Depending on the length of the course the student is asked if he/she needs a CAS.

1.9. After complete enrolment the file is given to the Administration Office.

1.10. Student Pack is given to the student which includes: letters, ID, timetable,
syllabus and college details.

2.0 Telephone process
Students can enquire over the phone for courses available in the college. The receptionist directs the phone call to the Director of Studies (DOS), who carries out an interview and advises them accordingly. They are then asked to attend the college and follow the enrolment process.

3.0 Internet process
The college also receives queries from the students through the website www.nlcbs.co.uk. The queries get filtered and sent to DOS who will then acknowledge and get back to the query accordingly. This normal takes 3-5 working days.

The student is asked to visit the website and go through the information regarding courses and awarding bodies.

The student is then asked to report to the college for an interview and assessment to see if the candidate is suitable for the course by the Director of Studies.

The student is then asked to attend the college and follow the enrolment process.

International student

1.0 OVERSEAS STUDENT
International students are usually recommended to the college by a representative from overseas. The representative will contact the college to inform them they have students who are interested in studying at NLCBS.
The student is required to have the following completed before they are considered:
- Student has a completed application through there representative.
- Passport copy,
- Educational transcripts
- CV
- Personal Statement
- Medical certificate

The DOS goes through the application and an email is sent to the representative to schedule a Skype interview.

During the Skype interview the candidate is asked to spell his name and show his passport as form of identity. At that point, the student is made aware that he has to be on his own while being interviewed and the representative is also made aware.
If there is any suspicion of help being provided the interview is terminated.

Complete interview recording and the file are handed over to the DOS.
At that point, DOS remarks on approval or non-approval.

As the student is selected, the file goes to the administration office where an offer letter is issued.

The representative receives the offer letter, he /she collects the tuition fees and forwards a copy of the draft to the college while the original draft stays with the representative.

Finance office prints out a copy of the draft and sends to admin to issuing CAS.

Once CAS is issued, students are requested to submit their application at the embassy
