Pearson Test for English (PTE) Academic – English for Academic Purposes

NLCBS is a proud Professional Partner of Pearson, to offer a qualification leading to PTE Academic certification. Pearson was one of a few test providers in the world that had the PTE Academic recognised as a Secure English Language Tests by the UK Border Agency in August 2010.

NLCBS has selected Pearson as its partner as it believes that the test, which is available in over 159 countries, is more reliable and truly tests the competency of the students in academic English. NLCBS was also pleased to learn that Pearson’s test has some of the best security and technology in their test centres.


Requirements:
1. Students must possess a minimum of equivalent IELTS 4.0 Band to be accepted onto this course.
2. Student at this level can progress up to the higher end of B2.
3. Where the students are required to possess only IELTS 5 or 5.5 Band, they can also complete the qualification at this level.
4. Students who do not have IELTS/TOEFL qualification-the college will conduct a SKYPE Video interview to verify their English Proficiency.
